My Native Village Paragraph

My Native Village

Debipur is my native village having almost all common qualities of other villages of Bangladesh. It is a very small village situated at the eastern part of the traditional and biggest beel, Chalon Beel. It is in the district of Sirajganj. There are only 1,500 people in my village. All villagers are Muslims. There are no Hindus and the followers of other religions. Most of our villagers are farmers. Some of them are traders, seasonal dealers and fishermen. There are teachers, bankers and other government and non-government employees. There are a registered primary school and a fazil madrasha along with an ancient decorated mosque. There are many big ponds in my village. Dhaka Rajshahi High Way maintains all types of communication of our villagers. But there are unmetalled roads inside the village. During the rainy season, the villagers generally use boats to keep communication to the High Way. The natural beauty of my village is very charming. From the High Way, it looks like a painted picture. It seems a floating island of trees during the rainy season. But my village has some common problems. Unmetalled roads hamper movement during the rainy season. Total village is not electrified too. Moreover, village politics and faction interrupt peace, happiness and mutual bonds. So my village is neither ideal nor hateful but represents all villages of Bangladesh.
