Food Adulteration Paragraph

Food adulteration means polluting foods by mixing toxic substances, chemicals and preservatives etc. for gaining quick profit. It has become a serious problem in our country. Now most of the foods are being adulterated to keep them fresh or to make them tasty. Some dishonest and avaricious businesspersons adulterate different kinds of foods for greater profit. They never think the minimum safety of the customers. Now-a-days, fishes, fruits and vegetables are being mixed poisonous formalin to keep fresh. Poisonous carbide is being used in bananas, mangoes, tomatoes and other fruits for artificial color. These toxic chemicals are dangerous for human health. People are being attacked by many fatal diseases. However, this should not be continued. People are involved in food adulteration should be identified and brought under punishment. Public awareness must be raised against this destructive food adulteration. Print and electric media can play a vital role in this regard. Government should also take necessary steps to prevent food adulteration as soon as possible.
