A bus-stand is generally situated outside a town or a city. Some bus stands are situated in the middle of a town or near a railway station or a launch ghat. A bus-stand is very important in the modern road communication system. People of different places can get into a bus in a bus-stand. A bus-stand also is great necessity for carrying goods from one place to another. A bus stand is necessary to avoid traffic jam in a city. Moreover, some people earn their livelihood working in a bus stand. A bus-stand is a busy place. Buses of different routes keep standing here. People come here all day long. Some people come here to get into a bus to go to their destination. Again many passengers get down from a bus Some passengers wait here for buses. Besides hawkers and fruit sellers come here for selling their goods. The helpers and conductors of buses call the passengers shouting at the top of their voice. All these things make it a busy place.
